Roofing membranes are very versatile and therefore ideal for almost any kind of roofing project from new extensions, to replacement or refurbishment of existing roof coverings, to bay windows and garages.
Membranes
Membranes are dimensionally stable due to the reinforcement carrier sheet. This means that they do not shrink, stretch or lose their shape.
Solar Reflective
Membranes are UV resistant and need no chippings to protect them from the sun’s UV rays.
Membranes are tested for UV ageing to the highest international standard for waterproofing membranes, a test which requires exposure to 5,000 hours of UV testing. While this is a tough test in itself, membranes are tested to withstand 10,000 hours of UV exposure.
Lacquered
Membranes have a unique lacquered top coating, the benefit of which is that it helps to provide better resistance to industrial/biological waste and air pollution.
Resistant to Root Growth
Membranes are resistant to root growth, making them suitable for use under green roofs.
Fire Retardant
PVC membranes are treated with a fire retardant and are self-extinguishing. The membranes can be used to achieve the relevant Building Regulations approval.
Vapour Permeable
Membranes are vapour permeable, small amounts of moisture trapped beneath the membrane is able to evaporate, preventing blistering or slumping as can be common in traditional flat roofs.
Flame Free
Membranes are cold applied and free from naked flames. Our membranes are homogenous, which when hot air welded form joints which are stronger than the membrane itself.
